Curriculum Vitae
Tiziano Montini was born in 1977. He obtained the degree in Chemistry in 2002 at the University of Trieste discussing a thesys titled "Design of catalytic properties of materials based on ceria-zirconia". In 2006 he obtained his Ph.D. with work titled "Design of catalytic materials for fuel cells".
Nowadays, he is Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical Sciences at the University of Trieste.

In 2012, he earned the 4th ERES Junior Award assigned by the European Rare-Earth and Actinide Society during the ICFE-8 (held in Udine - Italy - on August 26-31, 2012) and the "Alfredo Di Braccio" Prize assigned by the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei.

Actual scientific interests
1. Redox properties of CeO2-based materials.
2. Design of catalysts for production of syn-gas from renewable sources.
3. Development of catalysts for H2 purification through WGSR and PROX.
4. Design of photocatalysts for H2 production.
5. Development of innovative and efficient materials for Solid Oxide Fuel Cells.
